PSY.one expert Elena Tamazova has published a book (in Russian). It isn’t really about building a personal brand — it’s about finding your true self and being able to tell others about it.

If you think there are already too many brands and the market is only so big, this book is for you: that myth about the market was invented by marketers to make themselves look important. Anyone can find their place in the sun if they recognise what makes them unique and have the courage to keep it. And by the way, a strong personal brand doesn’t mean you have to be a public figure with a million followers — that’s a myth too.
The book draws on tools from marketing, PR and coaching, is seasoned with cases from practice and interspersed with lyrical digressions from real life. It contains 34 practical exercises and 9 projective techniques.
It is a step-by-step guide to understanding what your core is, what matters to you, what your strengths are and what to do with all that — so that your epitaph reads well.
From the book
People sometimes say: “I don’t want to work on a personal brand — that means trying to please other people.”
And I answer: “A personal brand is about knowing your strengths and being able to show them. It’s about finding your own audience — people who share your values and vision and who really need exactly what you have to offer. The person you need to please is yourself; everyone else will follow.”
A personal brand is about talking about real achievements and helping others with theirs.
You’re not a hundred-dollar bill — you don’t have to be liked by everyone.
