Psychoanalytic therapist, clinical psychologist, therapy group leader, supervisor and lecturer.

Since 2010 I have been helping my clients through life crises, with anxiety and with organising their lives better. My aim is to help you get more pleasure out of life, feel genuine joy, love deeply and be loved.

My practice is grounded in the traditions of the Paris school of psychoanalysis: I regularly attend seminars of the Moscow Psychoanalytic Society and the Société Psychanalytique de Paris (SPP), I am in the second phase of my personal analysis, and for five years I worked under supervision in a group led by Jacqueline Schaeffer, a full member of the SPP.

CURRENT SUPERVISION GROUPS (NOW TAKING NEW MEMBERS)

My online supervision groups are for practising psychologists, psychoanalytic therapists and clinical psychologists who want to strengthen their professional identity and resilience and grow their private practice.

The work is based on analysing the patient’s intrapsychic processes (in the tradition of the Paris Psychoanalytic Society) within the group matrix, using the method of the Institute of Group Analysis (London). We work with group resonance and the effect of mutual mirroring. This helps us think about countertransference and resistance and work through clinical impasses. The group field makes drive theory visible — the way J. Schaeffer spoke to me about it — as well as A. Green’s “work of the negative”, opening up access to the patient’s unconscious.

These therapy groups — online, and in person in Moscow — are for people who want to feel freer and more at ease with others and learn to build truly alive, close relationships.

If you notice that in your relationships you keep ending up in the same uncomfortable situations, or that being with people tires you more than it brings you joy, this is a place to pause and explore how your world of relationships with Others works. The group offers a rare chance to be yourself without having to adapt or pretend, to speak openly about what you usually have to hide, and through this experience to regain real stability and confidence with the people around you.

Research interests: the psychology of sexuality.

Professional status and qualifications:

Full Member of the European Association for the Development of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.

Group supervisor in the group-analytic approach (Institute of Group Analysis, London).

I work under individual and group supervision with members of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), the Société Psychanalytique de Paris (SPP) and the European Group Analytic Training Institutions Network (through the Group Analytic Society of St Petersburg).

Research and teaching:

I completed postgraduate studies at the Russian State Social University (Department of Social, Political and Economic Psychology) and am preparing to defend my PhD thesis on “Social representations of sexuality and its communicative expressions across generations of Russians”.

Applied interests: applied psychoanalysis; how the inner psychic conflicts of owners, executives and leaders shape their companies’ market behaviour and growth strategies.

2014 — present: private clinical practice.

2015–2020: senior lecturer at HSE University, Faculty of Social Sciences (School of Psychology). Rated among the best lecturers at HSE University.

2007–2017: ran my own marketing and business consulting firm.

Before 2007: held various positions at advertising and marketing services companies.
